Greetings and blessings from the west tip of Texas!

 

It's that time of year again... football season (or marching band season for some of us) has arrived.  And for us Texans, high school football means it's Homecoming Time! And because everything's bigger in Texas, it's time to go all out making mums and garters!

 

An El Paso native, I first learned how to make homecoming mums in the den of my high school best friend's home.  Her awesome mom taught us what to do, and then let us get crafty and creative to our heart's content.  It was the gateway to crazy crafts, lots of messes, love and laughs in my life. 

 

I have continued making homecoming mums and garters for friends and family since that wonderful time twenty-something years ago.  When my oldest child reached high school, and others saw what I created for him and other friends, I decided to jump in and really make a go of it.  Why not do what you love, right?

 

I delight in making things personal and meaningful.  I believe that you can make a fun and fabulous mum without going to ridiculous extremes and breaking yours (or your parent's) bank.   If you like beautiful, simple elegance, you are looking in the right place.  It would be my absolute pleasure to help make your homecoming memorable!
